CSR Policy

Earthly Treasures Corporate Social Responsibility Policy & Code of Ethics

  • We exclusively collaborate with independent brands, ensuring that these businesses are owned, operated, or managed by the designer or their family.
  • Whenever possible, collections are crafted locally in small production batches by artisans or the designers themselves.
  • We promote a fair and transparent supply chain, making certain our suppliers do not use sweatshops or engage in practices involving trafficked, bonded, child, or forced labour.
  • We do not support the use of farmed fur, exotic skins, or feathers. Although we may offer items made from animal products, these are always by-products of the meat industry. We never sell products where animals are killed solely for the use of product manufacturing.
  • We encourage our suppliers who work with wood to use only sustainably sourced materials, especially if producing items from endangered or exotic hardwoods. They should prioritize off-cuts or recycled wood, avoiding illegal logging and deforestation.
  • For our wellness and beauty product suppliers, we advocate the use of natural, plant-based ingredients and discourage synthetic additives. Additionally, we request that no testing, either on individual ingredients or the final product, be conducted on animals.
  • The majority of sales proceeds go directly to the brands, empowering them to offer fair wages to their suppliers, craft higher-quality goods, produce locally, and minimize their environmental footprint in delivering products.
  • All designs sold through us are unique, original, and belong to the individual brands. Each item is made by the designer or artisans under their close supervision, ensuring high-quality standards. We never sell another designer's work under a different name.
  • Due to the climate emergency, we have a goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2030. We operate within a framework of continuous improvement and encourage all of our brands to reduce their environmental impact.

If it’s not ethical, we won’t support it!
