In Indonesia, ombak means wave of the sea. It was given this name due to the curvature of its backrest and its resemblance to a cresting wave. The Ombak is a handmade rattan chair with a beautifully curved frame. It comes with either mustard yellow or dusty pink cotton upholstery.

Why is this product better for the planet and its people?

The rattan used in this chair is sourced from Kalimantan (Indonesian Borneo) farmers supported by the World Wildlife Foundation. The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) has also  accredited these communities to look after and protect the trees that are essential for rattan's growth. The Rattan here is sustainable because rattan farming doesn't harm, but protects rainforest trees, that may otherwise be cut down to make-way for palm oil plantations. With the WWF and FSC support & accreditation the farmers are able to charge more for their rattan - which A TOKO gladly supports. A TOKO is also exploring ways to give back to communities in Indonesia, elevate Indonesian culture and provide decent jobs that are fairly paid which is integral to the brands reciprocity.


  • RETURN & REFUND POLICY

    We hope that you'll love and cherish your A TOKO items, but if you are not entirely happy, then you may return them to us within 14 days with proof of purchase and provided they are in their original condition. Return costs will be the responsibility of the customer. You can fill out of Self Serve Customer Returns Form in your customer account portal.

🚚 Shipping

As a marketplace supporting independent UK makers, each item is shipped directly from the artisan or brand who made it.

  • Delivery times vary depending on the maker and product — most handcrafted or made-to-order pieces arrive within 2–6 weeks, while ready-to-ship items typically arrive within 5–10 working days.
  • If you are ordering items from different brands then shipping from each brand will be charged as the items ship from different locations.
  • You’ll receive tracking details or delivery updates directly from us once your order has been dispatched.
  • Currently, we deliver across the UK only.

📦 Packaging

Because we work with a range of UK-based brands and creators, packaging methods may vary. Many of our partners use eco-friendly or recyclable materials whenever possible, but this can differ between makers.

At Earthly Treasures, we’re committed to encouraging all our partners to use sustainable, minimal packaging and to reduce waste wherever possible. We also encourage customers to recycle or reuse their packaging wherever possible.

💚 Returns & Exchanges

We hope you’ll love your purchase, but if something isn’t right, you can return your item within 14 days of delivery for a refund or exchange.

  • Please contact us at grace@earthlytreasures.co.uk before returning any item so we can connect you with the correct maker for instructions.
  • Return costs are at the expense of the customer. We will provide you with return instructions. The cost of the item to return it will be deducted from your refund received.
  • Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging.
  • Made-to-order or custom pieces are non-refundable unless damaged or faulty, as they’re created specifically for you.
  • Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days once the item is received and inspected.
